Spoken Word: Ignite Your Passion and Calling

Ignite your faith-filled passion

I hope this finds you all well as summer unwinds!  It went so fast, but I’m excited to be back writing next week, I’ve missed you all! So stay tuned!

I thought we’d end the Summer Blog Tour with something a little different — a blast of enthusiasm by Spoken Word artist David Bowen, with his Start Something That Matters. If this doesn’t get you fueled to begin a calling or passion, I don’t know what will! Take some time after watching this to think about a calling or project that may be lying dormant, waiting for your unique, God-given expression. The world needs us, needs our gifts — the song we need to sing, the words we need to write, the mission that needs sprouting!

Consider journaling this week about what you yearn to bring forth in the world that matters, and make a leap..or  a step!

We love your comments, and consider sharing that  something that really matters–big or small — and what step you’ll take..your commitment will inspire us!

Hang on tight, David will surely inspire with this short, but dynamic Spoken Word piece!

  1. I love this, thanks! I’m going to share it on my Inspiring Hope page! I love the shot of his ‘toms’ at the end! All the images spoke of how others (and we) can give back by taking an idea and flying with it.

    1. So lovely to see you here again, I hope you had a great summer and look forward to conneting when I get back into the swing next week! I felt the need to post something visual, sometimes moving away from the written word with the spoken word jolts us in new ways of thinking! So glad you enjoyed it! He has some other inspiring Spoken Word messages, too! So glad you’ll post on your Inspiring Hope page!

  2. Aaaah!!! The beauty and power of David’s passion and poetry. David reminds us to embrace the power of creativity as foundational to human spirituality and a key to creating paradise on earth. Thank you Kathy for introducing us to David. I want to buy his album when it is available. We must support this wonderful young artist and his important work.
