Alas! Yes, the photo is my foot on the beach..I’m stepping into summer which means I’m also taking a summer break from blogging, but will be posting regularly on our Facebook page some inspiring posts by my blogger friends, some simple ideas for contemplation, and summer fun updates. Please be sure to follow us there and LIKE us so you see the posts on your feed.
I’m also working on an unfolding new project, yet plan on beginning each day with the intention of living from Thy Will fueled by reading scripture, contemplative prayer, fellowship, journaling and reading soul nourishing books.
I’d like to leave you with some thoughts on this:
Each summer day, a door is open before us. It’s a door called FAITH. Through this door we enter into God’s light, the light shining the mystery of agape love, a love that knows no darkness. Here we leave expectations, worries, and even desires behind, entering into being one with God. This door leads to a path paved before us where we walk in confidence (it is a door called FAITH afterall), knowing where God leads is right, purposeful, true, and soul fulfilling. Its the simple path of true summer rest, no matter our circumstances.
I pray you join me to start your summer with seeking Thy Will, drinking from the well of everlasting springs. I love this version of Psalm 84 from Esther De Waal’s book Lost in Wonder, Rediscovery the Spiritual Art of Attentiveness.
Be sure to join me this summer on FACEBOOK for reminders to enjoy a blessed summer!
