Mom Cafe  I’m on a summer break from writing, yet, meanwhile I’m enjoying sharing some of my favorite writers on our Summer Blog Tour!  I met beautiful-hearted Christine from Momcafe.com through blogging, and how she blesses me! She has a special ability to write deep, vulnerable, honest blogs that speak to a woman’s heart.  Her compassionate way, and her love for God, glued us together as fast friends! Although we have never met (not yet anyway), we’ve discovered a special sisterhood through our writing, passion for truth, and our mutual yearning to live holy lives everyday.

Christine is a very special woman, and I’m blessed to share two of her wonderful blogs this week that remind us how, in all our imperfections, we are simply beautiful. I hope you’ll be moved by her words like I am!

I had a moment…

My stare remained locked, as the color and the shape revealed what lived beyond them.

I Am Beautiful to Him.

On February 17, we celebrate our anniversary. Ah, the red rose Valentine’s Day wedding—14 years. To some, that’s nothing. To others, that’s something. To me?

That’s everything.

Everyone knows that marriage is hard work. You and I have witnessed many marriages crumble over time, and we’ve seen other marriages shatter into sharp shards of brokenness under the weight of circumstances and the dissolve of unit…
