Enjoy these stunning, meditative short films produced by talented filmmakers:
Gratitude. Brother David Steindl-Rast’s spoken words, Gary Malkin’s musical compositions and Louie Schwartzberg’s cinematography make this a stunningly beautiful piece, reminding us of the precious gift of life, and the beauty all around us. Produced by 4thweb.

Silent Transitions,  by Salomon Ligthelm. The film is the filmmaker’s personal project inspired by verses from scripture including 2Samuel 22:20 and Psalm 46:10.   For it’s in our stillness we return to God.

REFLECT:

Consider radical gratefulness as a spiritual practice. Do you notice both small and significant gifts surrounding you? Would you consider counting One Thousand Gifts this year?

Consider your own need for silence.  Are you creating time in your life for mediation and prayer?  Is it possible schedule a special time this week to quiet your mind and seek God?
